Multivitamins containing vitamin E are beneficial for almost everything. Vitamin E is an antioxidant, it protects our bodies from carcinogens like lead and mercury. A multivitamin containing vitamin E can protect the cells in your body which will slow down the aging process. Vitamin E is a fat soluble vitamin and cell membranes are made up mostly of fat, so Vitamin E can easy penetrate the cell membrane and protect the cell.
Multivitamins also make use of vitamin E’s ability to thin the blood. This does not interfere with our bodies ability to clot. Thinner blood, as any heart attack victim can tell you, flows easier. Easier flowing blood can get around plaque buildups, lessening the chance of a heart attack or stroke.
Vitamin does so much more as well. Make sure the multivitamins you purchase contain an adequate amount of this wonder vitamin. Vitamin E can heal scars quickly. Burn victims given large doses of vitamin E have shown amazing healing capabilities. Vitamin E is so beneficial to skin, it can even reduce the appearance of older scars.
Vitamin E is just one reason to take a multivitamin daily. If just one of the essential nutrients can do all this and more, think what you are missing if you don’t get all your essential nutrients. The best way to make sure you get enough vitamin E and all the other essential nutrients is to take multivitamins.

A Staph infection, or Staph cellulitis, is caused when the bacteria Staphylococcus, infects the skin. Despite the conventional wisdom that suggests that this bacterium is uncommon or comes from a lack of cleanliness, in reality it is quite common. In fact about a quarter of all human beings carry the bacteria in the nose, mouth or genital area and usually it is quite passive and does not cause many problems. However, when the bacterium infects an open wound in the skin, it leads to the condition we know as a Staph infection. Depending on the size and depth of the wound and the subsequent infection, a Staph infection can range from a simple irritant all the way to a life threatening condition.
Staphylococcus is contagious and can easily be spread, but as noted above, this is usually not a problem. However, one common means of transmission does often result in infections: foot transmission. Feet that carry this bacterium tend to leave significant quantity of it behind them, and it can quickly attach itself to uninfected feet. This is one of the reasons why it is recommended that people using shared or communal showers wear some sort of simple foot protection. Further, the feet are prone to more minor cuts and scrapes that can become infected than other parts of the body, which is why many Staph infections happen on the feet.
Generally speaking, Staph infections can be easily treated using antibiotics. Until the 1980s, penicillin successfully treated most Staph infections. However, due in large part to the overuse of penicillin, by the 1980s new resistant strains of the bacteria began appearing. These new, resistant strains were easily treated using stronger antibiotics, but as of the mid 2000s new, even more resistant strains were appearing. This has particularly been a problem in North America where antibiotics have been extensively overused for a long time. In some rare cases, when the infection is deep enough to affect muscles, a surgical cleaning of the wound has been required to treat Staph infections.
