Hepatitis A is a viral infection that infects the liver. It is common in many parts of the world and poses risks for international travelers. Illness severity is variable and most

patients make complete recoveries. This disease is transmitted when an individual ingests food or drink that is contaminated with microscopic amounts of infected feces.

Physicians and scientists use the term fecal-oral transmission to describe this pathway. For example, travelers in a restaurant can become infected if a cook or a waiter did

not practice adequate hygiene after using the rest room. Diners can also become infected if the food was contaminated prior to delivery to the restaurant. Food and

beverages that are more likely to harbor the virus include fruits, vegetables, shellfish, ice and water.

Hepatitis b is a liver disease caused by a virus with the same name. The infection may be acute or chronic and symptoms can include fever, malaise, fatigue, jaundice,

abdominal tenderness, and elevated liver enzymes. While a person can be quite ill with this infection, the treatment is supportive and aimed at providing comfort.

majority of patients recover within eight weeks of an acute episode of the infection without any long term complications.

It’s mad how one event can change your whole outlook on life. I’ve always been ‘carefree’, according to some. Stupid, maybe to others. I guess I’ve never really worried about the things other people seem to worry about. Maybe I never really absorbed why people are concerned with the things they worry about. Or perhaps I thought I was invincible. Whatever it was, an old family member died the other day. I say old, but he wasn’t old old – maybe n his forties, approaching fifty. It turned out he had some illness or other, and that was it. And for some reason, it really hit me – anything can happen.

But I don’t like worrying and I don’t like stressing. So I took up my mum’s private medical insurance instead.  I used to think it was just some anal extravagance of hers but I am so chuffed with this deal. Because I actually avoid going to the doctor, even if I know I need to get something checked – purely because when I think of doctors, I think of queues. To be honest, I’m not even sure if this is true anymore, it’s been that long since I actually went. But the idea of being able to see someone as soon as I need to, should an emergency arise, just because I have private medical insurance, is good enough for me. And me being the fit fanatic adrenalin junkie that I am, found it amazing that they give you all these extra health benefits like gym vouchers. Should listen to my mum more!

Gambling industry is on high these days. There is not much difference between physical casinos and USA online casinos. Slot machine is one of the most famous online casino games and it is liked by all classes of people. Slot machine is based on certain mathematical calculations that generate random results which are based on computer. The fact that distinguishes online casinos from USA casinos is that payout is much higher in online casinos. Online casino gambling index is the best source of online casino games and websites.

Let’s discuss some myths associated with slot machine.

Myth 1: Online casinos are tuned to give good payouts at certain time of the day when the traffic is high. Truth: All online casinos are subject to strict online gaming laws and they are abiding to follow them. So a casino cannot take this risk.

Myth 2: If jackpot is hit on one machine it cannot be hit again on that machine. Truth: Online slot machines are based on digital calculations and when a particular calculation arises again, jackpot is hit. It is as simple as that.

Myth 3: If a machine is machine hasn’t hit a jackpot from long time it is not going to hit it in future. Truth: Slot machines work on simple mathematics and all the results are random. So this assumption does not hold any good.

A Staph infection, or Staph cellulitis, is caused when the bacteria Staphylococcus, infects the skin. Despite the conventional wisdom that suggests that this bacterium is uncommon or comes from a lack of cleanliness, in reality it is quite common. In fact about a quarter of all human beings carry the bacteria in the nose, mouth or genital area and usually it is quite passive and does not cause many problems. However, when the bacterium infects an open wound in the skin, it leads to the condition we know as a Staph infection. Depending on the size and depth of the wound and the subsequent infection, a Staph infection can range from a simple irritant all the way to a life threatening condition.

Staphylococcus is contagious and can easily be spread, but as noted above, this is usually not a problem. However, one common means of transmission does often result in infections: foot transmission. Feet that carry this bacterium tend to leave significant quantity of it behind them, and it can quickly attach itself to uninfected feet. This is one of the reasons why it is recommended that people using shared or communal showers wear some sort of simple foot protection. Further, the feet are prone to more minor cuts and scrapes that can become infected than other parts of the body, which is why many Staph infections happen on the feet.

Generally speaking, Staph infections can be easily treated using antibiotics. Until the 1980s, penicillin successfully treated most Staph infections. However, due in large part to the overuse of penicillin, by the 1980s new resistant strains of the bacteria began appearing. These new, resistant strains were easily treated using stronger antibiotics, but as of the mid 2000s new, even more resistant strains were appearing. This has particularly been a problem in North America where antibiotics have been extensively overused for a long time. In some rare cases, when the infection is deep enough to affect muscles, a surgical cleaning of the wound has been required to treat Staph infections.
